In the entrance hall of the Neues Museum Berlin, refurbished by David Chipperfield Architects, artist Michael Müller presents The Given Day: a monumental painting that brings the myth of Castor and Polydeuces to life. The work traces the twins’ eternal journey between Olympus and Hades, day and night, life and death. To expand the experience, Stan Hema developed the Dioskuri App: an interactive and immersive digital extension that reveals the creative process behind the artwork and connects ancient myth with contemporary technology.
